OUR STORY
The Early Years (1967-1977)
After Five opened its first evening wear store in Vancouver, BC, in 1967. Just two years later, in 1969, it expanded to Woodward’s Centre - currently Oakridge Centre. By 1971, the brand had a grand opening inside Pacific Centre, and in 1977, it launched an anchor retail store at Lansdowne Shopping Mall.
Expansion & Growth (1984-2006)
In 1984, After Five added a second store in Oakridge Centre. The brand continued to grow, opening a new downtown Vancouver location at Howe and Pender in 1995. By 2006, After Five became a pioneer by launching the first authorized Canadian website for designer dresses.
Modern Milestones (2008-Today)
In 2008, After Five became a preferred vendor for Hollywood North. We have outfitted families members for Michael Bublé's wedding, sponsored dresses for the Bachelorette Canada and Miss Canada pageants. Today, After Five continues to deliver high quality dresses to households across Canada, United States and Internationally as well.
